چکیده
Two cases of arthroscopic retrieval of intra-articular shoulder pathology are presented. With this technique, areas that are often difficult to expose in an open fashion and those previously deemed inaccessible arthroscopically are localized readily. In the setting of intra-articular pathology, thought should be given to the possibility of arthroscopic retrieval or excision before proceeding with open surgery.

Arthroscopic Ablation of Osteoid Osteoma in the Wrist
Osteoid osteoma is a benign bone tumor that rarely involves joints. Although there are several reports of arthroscopic osteoid osteoma excisions, to our knowledge, there are no reports of this type of treatment for osteoid osteoma in carpal bones. We report two cases of arthroscopic (a person who had a pain in the left wrist and the other one with carpal tunnel syndrome) with excision of oste...

We presented a case of osteoid osteoma of the scapula in right shoulder in angle of coracoid and geloneid in a 34- year old woman. She had right ra...
متن کاملArthroscopic Excision of Intra-Articular Hip Osteoid Osteoma: A Report of 2 Cases
Intra-articular osteoid osteoma is uncommon accounting for approximately 12% of all osteoid osteomas. It presents diagnostic and therapeutic challenges since several traumatic or degenerative pathologies of the joint can be simulated with delay in the diagnosis. We report the clinical, radiographic, and histopathological findings in 2 cases of intra-articular osteoid osteoma of the femoral neck...
متن کاملArthroscopic Excision of an Osteoid Osteoma of the Lesser Trochanter of the Femoral Neck
Osteoid osteoma frequently requires surgical treatment, especially among young, active patients. However, surgeons are reluctant to perform open surgery for an osteoid osteoma of the femoral neck area because the conventional surgical approach requires a large incision in muscular patients, and percutaneous resection with a trephine has the attendant risk of subsequent fracture. Recently, arthr...
